Project Overview
A 600-unit affordable housing scheme where unit cost per square foot was the primary project constraint.
The Challenge
The housing board needed to lower the delivered cost per unit versus their earlier conventional-construction phase, without reducing build quality or thermal comfort for residents.
Our Solution
Thermocrete AAC Blocks replaced conventional clay brick across the full scheme, reducing structural dead-load enough to downsize foundation specifications, while cutting cooling costs for residents in a hot climate zone.
